    They chose a russian band because it was powerful and it could vary in many sounds. From 'Avenue' a light hearted yet busy sounding sond with a catchy melody, fast beat, ect to 'Ominous Clouds' a dark song with a fast pace.

    And then there's songs like this.

    The Russian version is the official one used in the anime, if I recall correctly? I wonder why they went for Russian... though it was a wise choice.

    Yeah, German has a bit harsher noises in it - like the "xch" sound. Not to say that German is ugly, I love it and I plan to learn it soon. But even if you're not German, it's kind of easy to tell that it's something else.
