Certainly one of the most impressive RC-planes I have seen. Is there any background info about this model?

- The Blade II
  It's called the Blade II, powered by electric ducted fans using high speed, brushless motors. The entire thing is fiberglass and only the kit costs about US$900, the batteries, you need 32 of them are $4 a piece, the motors and controller as well as the radio can be expensive if you want to fly like the video. A friend on mine has one and I've flown it a few times. Impressive but too short of a flight time...about 3 minutes.

  i know what you mean. I have a RC glider that cost Ã‚Â£50 and a controller and 3 servos that cost Ã‚Â£150.

Man, how do they keep track of that plane! I have rc plane that goes 25mph and i still bust it up, and i almost lost it once in the air. I need to practice more.

I Googled Blade ll
and I couldnt find anything on it. Although I did come across a lot of other electric ducted fan planes and none of them were near 900 dollars, more like 150 dollars not including radio and servos.
