  A throwing star (or ninja star) is a subtype of shuriken known as a hira shuriken. So it is a throwing star and shuriken except it's made of paper so who cares what it is. I'm going to make one. Before you try to disprove someone you could at least check wiki if you have to.

something i would suggest; because it's a tutorial video, you should just use plain white paper to demonstrate. the designs on the paper can be kind of distracting when trying to follow along.
