except when you want to use it for the second time you have a little triangle on the tip that you need to cut off... with scissors...

  When I tape up boxes I usually run the tape all the way around the box anyways - therefore a triangle like that can be taped over - I would say this method is great...especially considering that I loose (i.e. missplace) my scissors all the time
